The Jumps and Bumps Program teaches foundation entry-level Freestyle Skills for Air, Moguls, Halfpipe, and Slopestyle. There is an emphasis on good technical skiing, or “Freeskiing”.
The skills have been divided into Green/Blue/Black levels, which are outlined in the J&B Passport. Skiers will receive stickers as they learn, and certificates to mark their progress at the end of the year.
Jumps and Bumps coaches are trained through the CFSA/NCCP Club Coach Course and CFSA’s Technical Ski Module(TSM 1). CFSA’s new FREESTYLERZ program prepares skiers ages 8 and up with more advanced acrobatic and skiing skills needed to succeed in Freestyle competitions. View J&B program materials and important information such as the Operating Agreement and Administrators Checklist by downloading all of the forms below.
Program materials are available to all registered CFSA clubs and members at no extra charge. One free Can Freestyle Coach Resource will be provided per club. Clubs may want to order additional books for their coaches at a cost of $25. Each. The Can Freestyle Coach Resource book includes: The J&B Skills Guide, Freestylerz Reference Guide, and manuals for the new TSM 1 & 2, Air 1 & 2, and Park and Halfpipe Supercoach Modules.
