How did you get into freestyle?
I have always been passionate about acrobatics, a passion I discovered when I was only four years old. I would jump everywhere in the house and my parents quickly realized that I had some talent. Therefore, they decided to sign me up for trampoline. At a very young age, I developed a good work ethic and sense of discipline, which propelled me to the top of the podium at the Canadian Championships when I was only 11 years old.
After that, I was determined to become a high-performance athlete. I then met Nicolas Fontaine, quadruple champion of the World Cup circuit and two-time Olympian. He saw in me the desire to always push my limits and quickly convinced me to join his freestyle ski program. With my passion for acrobatics and the determination to become an Olympic athlete, I fell in love with the sport.
