Advice to young athletes

Find a passion and appreciate hard work

How did you get into freestyle?

I’m a former gymnast who was recruited for the Jump 2010 program.

It would surprise you to know that…

I’m more nervous about falling during the showcase than I am during the competition itself!

Favorite World Cup / AFP stop and why?

Ski Mont-Gabriel, because I like to compete at home.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done to support your passion for skiing?

I rollerblade slalom in the parking lot of the water ramp at Lac Beauport to improve my skiing skills.

Most embarrassing moment

When I’d done just one-quarter of a rotation coming out of the double jump at the Calgary World Cup and landed flat on my back.
