What’s on my iPod

When I’m stressed, I stick to a strict diet of soul music. When I’m scared, I listen to rap. When I need to focus, I listen to electro dance music. For all other times, I listen to a collection of indie rock and classical music.

Education

I am currently attending Quest University Canada. I am working towards a Bachelor in Arts and Science.

I never leave home without…

My iPod, MacBook, a good book, a memory foam pillow, a foam roller and boots made for walking

Superstitions

I always put on red lipstick the morning of competitions.

Greatest fear

Needles and psychopaths

How did you get into freestyle?

I watched moguls in the 2002 Olympics while I was living in Quito, Ecuador. I returned to Canada later that year with a passion to be a freestyle skier. Immediately I found out that I liked jumping and halfpipe much better than moguls so I pursued those events.

Do you currently support a charity?

I am a Right to Play Ambassador and donate monthly to Greenpeace.

Favorite meal

Sushi or Vietnamese Pho

If I wasn’t an athlete I would be…

…very unhappy. Though eventually I plan to pursue a career in math or physics, I will always be a competitive athlete, as my body needs physical challenge to live happily.

Favorite form of exercise

Mountain biking, trampoline, hiking, weight lifting and yoga.
